Tiffany & Co. Welcomes Lunar New Year 2026 With The Pegasus

Tiffany & Co. opens the Lunar New Year with a familiar theme, but a new symbol. For its 2026 Chinese New Year campaign, the House introduces the Pegasus as its guiding motif, following last year’s Bird on a Rock-inspired release.

The choice aligns with the Year of the Horse and draws from Jean Schlumberger’s design universe, with chief artistic officer Nathalie Verdeille shaping the narrative around movement, progress and momentum.

Rather than debuting a standalone capsule, Tiffany has opted to spotlight and extend its core collections. The decision keeps the offering grounded and wearable, while still tying it clearly to the season. Leading the campaign is the Knot mini key pendant, a new addition to the Tiffany Knot collection and its most overtly symbolic piece.

The pendant is crafted in 18-carat rose gold and set with a single pink sapphire. It updates a bow motif first introduced in 1889, translating it into a pared-back, contemporary form.

The key design speaks directly to Lunar New Year themes of renewal and opportunity, while the restrained use of colour keeps the piece versatile. Its scale and proportions make it suitable for daily wear, whether layered or worn alone.

This emphasis on wearability continues across the entire campaign. HardWear appears with diamond-set links that temper its industrial aesthetic without diluting it. Tiffany T maintains its established graphic language, while the Lock collection reinforces ideas of protection and continuity through rose gold designs accented with pink sapphires or pavé diamonds.

Colour plays a supporting role rather than taking centre stage. Rose gold sets the overall tone, offering warmth that feels seasonally appropriate. Pink sapphires and rubies, most notably in the Sixteen Stone collection, introduce controlled flashes of colour. The focus remains on craftsmanship, proportion and detail rather than high-impact statement pieces.

Tiffany & Co. also extends the campaign into watches. The HardWear watch combines a pavé diamond case with a mother-of-pearl dial, translating the collection’s jewellery codes into a functional format. It is joined by the Tiffany Rope watch in yellow gold, which offers a more classic profile enhanced by diamond detailing and a textured bracelet.

Across the campaign, restraint is the defining feature. The Pegasus provides a unifying theme without dominating the designs, allowing each collection to retain its identity. Seasonal symbolism is present, but it is integrated through form and material rather than overt decoration.

The collection is available globally on January 4, with the Knot mini key pendant launching first in China on January 1, before a wider release in February. As a Lunar New Year offering, it reads less as a limited celebration and more as a continuation of Tiffany & Co.’s long-standing dialogue between heritage and modern design.
