Samsung One UI 8 beta program to be accessible by more older Galaxy smartphones

The Samsung One UI 8 version launched in May for the Galaxy S25 series will be rolling out to older smartphones soon, as the brand announces the relaxation of the beta program.

Samsung One UI 8 Beta More Galaxy Devices

For the first batch, they will be targeting the Galaxy S24 series, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 starting next week in Korea, the U.S., the U.K., and India.

In September, more models are getting added to the mix, including the Galaxy S23 lineup, last year’s Fold5 and Flip5, plus a bunch of mid-rangers like the A36 5G, A55 5G, A35 5G, and A54. If you’ve got any of those, you’ll be able to join the beta through the Samsung Members app.

As for the One UI 8 Watch version, it is slated to release sometime at the end of this year for older Galaxy smartwatches.

The “number 8” of the One UI update centers around the Galaxy AI and smarter multimodal interactions through better understanding of real-time context as well as the various ways of interactions like speaking, typing, and tapping.

It’s also designed to work better with Samsung’s wide range of form factors, so whether you’re using a foldable or a standard phone, the update aims to boost productivity and offer more personalized, proactive suggestions throughout your day.
