Netflix has officially confirmed the return of Wednesday for a third season, much to the delight of fans worldwide. The announcement arrives ahead of the much-anticipated release of Season 2, which will unfold in two parts on August 6 and September 3, 2025.
First launched in November 2022, Wednesday became a global sensation almost overnight. With over 252 million views in its first 91 days, it currently holds the record as Netflix’s most-watched English-language series of all time. Following the huge success of the first season, and with Season 2 generating over 2.8 billion social media impressions, Netflix is confident that Season 3 will continue to captivate viewers.
Season 2 will see Wednesday Addams, played by Jenna Ortega, return to Nevermore Academy, facing new challenges and supernatural mysteries in her signature deadpan style. The story promises plenty of dark, quirky twists and the return of familiar faces alongside fresh foes.
