Dolce & Gabbana And Ray-Ban Rework A Classic For 2026
Dolce & Gabbana and Ray-Ban have teamed up to relaunch one of eyewear’s most recognisable styles — and the timing is deliberate. Dropping this month, the collaboration revisits the Aviator just as it approaches its 90th anniversary, offering a sharper, more current take without losing what made it iconic in the first place.
The collection focuses on two updated designs, the Shooter and the Outdoorsman II, reworked by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. Drawing on Ray-Ban’s archive and Dolce & Gabbana’s design approach, both styles shift the Aviator into a more style-led space. It reflects a wider move towards eyewear that does more than finish a look — it leads it.

The Shooter is the standout. It leans into statement territory with a strong metal frame, a mother-of-pearl brow bar and an unexpected built-in cigarette holder pulled from vintage references.
The lenses do most of the work, arriving in bold colours like orange, pink, green, blue and yellow, with both mirrored and transparent options. The frame keeps the classic Aviator shape but introduces a lighter, slightly rimless feel that makes the design look sharper on the face.

The Outdoorsman II takes a more practical route. Its structure comes from a defined brow bar, balanced by a slim, lightweight frame that keeps things easy to wear. Lens colours are softer — think beige, brown, green and powder pink — making it a straightforward option for everyday use without fading into the background.
The accessories are part of the pitch. Each pair comes with a leather case fitted with a strap and gold-tone hook, designed to be worn on a bag or belt rather than left at home.
