DJI Malaysia brings in new Osmo Action 6 camera packing variable aperture and flagship-level imaging from RM2,079
DJI Malaysia just rolled out the Osmo Action 6, and it’s a pretty big step forward for action cameras, especially if you’re someone who shoots across wildly different environments.
The headline feature is its variable aperture system – the first on a DJI action cam – which lets the camera shift between f/2.0 and f/4.0 so it can handle bright scenes, night shots, and everything in between.
Pair that with a new 1/1.1-inch square CMOS sensor and 2.4 μm fused pixels, and you’re looking at noticeably cleaner, sharper results with up to 13.5 stops of dynamic range.
There’s also a new 4K Custom mode that uses the square sensor to let you shoot once and crop later into any aspect ratio, which is perfect if you’re posting across multiple platforms. Creators get native 4K/120fps slow motion, up to 32x Super Slow Motion, and extreme-condition durability too.
The camera is IP68 waterproof to 20 m (or 60 m with a case), works down to -20°C, lasts up to 4 hours, fast-charges to 80% in 22 minutes, and includes 50GB of built-in storage.
For day-to-day shooting, selfie videos benefit from the variable aperture, while the new Natural Wide FOV reduces distortion for travel vlogs. Pro-level stabilisation options like RockSteady 3.0, HorizonBalancing, and HorizonSteady keep footage stable and horizons level even during intense movement. You also get 2x lossless zoom, film tone presets, portrait optimisation, and subject-tracking tools for more polished results.
The Osmo Action 6 integrates directly with DJI’s OsmoAudio ecosystem, supporting dual wireless transmitters and using a three-mic array with wind-noise reduction for cleaner audio outdoors.

DJI Malaysia will be offering the Osmo Action 6 in 2 different sets – Standard and Adventure at RM2,079 and RM2,569 respectively, and here’s what you can get:
