Aemulus Inks MOU With Samsung On New Silicon Capacitor Test System

Aemulus Holdings Berhad announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Samsung Electro-Mechanics Co., LTD to form a strategic and long-term collaboration in Silicon Capacitor functionality testing.

Aemulus currently designs, develops, and markets automated test equipment (ATE) for various market segments, including RF, Digital, Analog/Mixed Signal, and Power Discrete. SEMCO is a manufacturer of electronic components.

Under the agreement, Aemulus will exclusively sell and support the first Silicon Capacitor Test System to SEMCO from April 2025 to March 2027, based on agreed terms. It will also exclusively sell and support any newly developed or upgraded Test Equipment to SEMCO for two years from SEMCO’s first commercial purchase.

The Parties will jointly collaborate on developing a new Silicon Capacitor Test System, guided by SEMCO’s Silicon Capacitor technology roadmap. ACSB will provide technical knowledge and resources, while SEMCO will contribute market insights, specifications, and requirements.

SEMCO will provide ACSB with a non-binding two-year forecast for the Test Equipment, updated periodically, and may purchase the Test Equipment from ACSB.

AHB Berhad stated that the MOU is not expected to have material effects on the company’s earnings, net assets, and gearing for the financial year ending September 30, 2025.
