Xiaomi Malaysia drops new AIoT items plus the Mijia Smart Audio Glasses
Aside from the Redmi Note 15 series, Xiaomi Malaysia also brought in several new AIoT products, but perhaps the most eye-catching one is the Mijia Smart Audio Glasses.
It is designed to look like normal eyewear, but with open-ear audio built in, meaning you can listen to music or take calls while still staying aware of what’s happening around you.
Specifically, it runs a proper speaker system and four microphones, with wind noise reduction rated up to 4.5m/s, so calls should stay clear even outdoors, while a new privacy mode uses a customized algorithm to reduce sound leakage.
Xiaomi is also leaning into style here, offering three designs – Titanium, Pilot-Style, and Browline – with support for prescription lenses across the board, blue light protection on the Browline and Titanium models, and UV400 sunglasses lenses on the Pilot-Style version. The Titanium model especially stands out because it weighs just 27.6g, which sounds like the kind of thing you could actually wear all day without feeling annoyed.
They didn’t just focus on looks either. The frame uses a piano-wire hinge rated for up to 15,000 flexes, it comes with IP54 dust and splash resistance, and the batteries are cleverly positioned towards the ends of the temples to keep the profile slim – down to 5mm near the frame – while also improving comfort. Battery life is surprisingly solid too, with up to 13 hours of music playback on a full charge, around 4 hours from just a 10-minute top-up, and roughly one hour to go from 0 to 100%.
One can also utilize the Xiaomi Glasses app to access additional features such as customizing gestures, activating your phone’s voice assistant with a long press, locating your glasses if you misplace them, and even managing recording features for audio, media, or face-to-face conversations – with an LED indicator lighting up during recording for transparency. It also supports dual-device connectivity, so switching audio between your phone and laptop should feel seamless.
Next, the Mijia Smart Air Purifier Max rocks a dual-impeller, dual-filter design that pushes a 1006.5 m³/h particle CADR and can reportedly clean a 10m² room in just 1.6 minutes, while its four-stage purification system with UVC is designed to tackle everything from allergens and odours to bacteria and viruses, and with multiple sensors tracking air quality in real time, it is very much pitched as a premium, peace-of-mind device for urban living.
On the lifestyle and food side, the Xiaomi Multifunctional Hot Pot Cooker 6L leans into the idea of shared meals and convenience, combining high power output, fast boiling, adjustable heat levels and safety features with a large capacity that suits family gatherings, while the Xiaomi Dual Zone Air Fryer 10L goes even further with its dual-basket system so you can cook two dishes at once, app control, smart synchronisation and presets that make it feel less like a basic appliance and more like a smart kitchen assistant designed for busy households.
Coffee lovers are not left out either, because the Xiaomi Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine is framed as your own compact home barista, offering a 20-bar pump, real-time temperature control, and a proper steam wand for milk texturing, all wrapped in a slim, minimalist design that is meant to look good on the countertop while still delivering that café-style experience without the usual complexity.
