Industry insiders suggest that the schedule adjustment may be attributed to production challenges. There is speculation that these delays are linked to internal decisions, such as the reported scrapping of a “Galaxy S26 Edge” model, which forced a reshuffling of the manufacturing schedule.

The report suggests that this aggressive pricing strategy might not be limited to the S-series. Sources indicate that Samsung could apply this same “price freeze” philosophy to its foldable lineup later in the year.
