Malaysians can now find Maxis’ AI-powered assistant Miya within the Maxis app
Maxis Malaysia has officially integrated yet another AI tech into its offerings, which can be found in the consumer Maxis app, and it is called Miya.
The full name of the AI assistant is actually ‘Maxis Intelligence, Your Assistant’ made in collaboration with Google Cloud, powered by the tech giant’s Customer Engagement Suite and Gemini models, offering users a more natural, chat-driven experience within the Maxis app.
Simply speaking, users can use natural language to engage in conversations about their needs, such as managing bills, checking contracts, activating roaming services, and more. The AI will also provide additional context and info to help users make better and informed decisions.
On a side note, Miya is not fully public yet, as it is being progressively rolled out to selected users, but if you want to try and see if you’re the lucky one, be sure to update to the latest version.
From a macro perspective, Miya is not the first AI gig that Maxis provided to its customers, as Maxis Mia has been around for enterprise-facing clients, signaling the company’s broader commitment to integrating advanced AI technologies across its ecosystem.
