IJM Signs Agreement With Govt For NPE Extension And New Toll Rates
IJM Corporation Berhad has signed a Supplemental Concession Agreement with the Government of Malaysia for the New Pantai Highway Extension (NPE Extension), which also includes a restructuring of toll rates.
The NPE Extension is a 15-kilometre fully elevated highway, including directional ramps, and will feature one new toll plaza. It will connect the Pantai Dalam Toll Plaza to the Jalan Istana Interchange via Jalan Syed Putra, enhancing connectivity and easing traffic flow in the Klang Valley.
Under the agreement, IJM confirmed that toll rates for the existing New Pantai Highway will be maintained at current levels until the end of the concession period, providing cost certainty for motorists.
The NPE is fully owned by Road Builder (M) Holdings Bhd, itself a wholly-owned subsidiary of IJM Corporation.
