FSBM MD KK Pang Resigns After Steering Group Out Of PN17 Status
FSBM Holdings Bhd announced that its Managing Director, KK Pang, has resigned, effective immediately, despite successfully guiding the group out of its Practice Note 17 (PN17) classification and restoring its financial stability.
In a statement, FSBM said that during his tenure, Pang led the group’s strategic transformation from a traditional technology services provider into a smart manufacturing and artificial intelligence (AI)-driven solutions company, supporting Malaysian manufacturers, especially SMEs, in Industry 4.0 and digitalisation initiatives.
“Under his leadership, FSBM’s smart manufacturing arm, FSBM MES Elite Sdn Bhd, received recognition at the Malaysia Smart Manufacturing Awards 2025, earning a Special Award for Technology Excellence for its role as an Industry 4.0 enabler,” the group added.
Meanwhile, Pang said he is stepping down as the group shifts its business direction, leaving FSBM with a “clean foundation” including reconciled accounts, resolved PN17 status and a strengthened governance framework.
He added that he will focus on advancing Malaysia’s AI and digital ecosystem, helping manufacturers move up the value chain with practical, scalable technology solutions.
