Bursa Rallies Strongly At Midday, FBMKLCI Surges Over 30 Points
Bursa Malaysia advanced sharply at midday, with the benchmark FBM KLCI jumping 31.56 points or 2.04% to 1,578.06 amid broad-based buying across key indices.
The FBM 70 led the broader market gains, climbing 395.33 points or 2.42% to 16,709.03, followed by the FBM Emas which rose 240.19 points to 11,760.23 (+2.08%). The FBM ACE index improved 20.60 points (+2.22%) to 949.12, while the FBM Shariah added 200.33 points (+1.75%) to 11,676.09.
In active trade, INARI topped the volume chart with over 60 million shares exchanged, surging 27 sen to RM2.21. Other heavily traded counters included MYEG (up 1 sen to 91.5 sen), NATGATE (+4 sen to RM1.62), CIMB (+38 sen to RM7.25), and VS Industry (+9 sen to 88.5 sen).
All benchmark indices touched session highs during the morning session, indicating strong investor confidence across the board.
