Biwin expands Acer and Predator lineup with PCIe 4.0 SSD and high-speed DDR5 RGB memory
Biwin has unveiled two new products under the Acer and Predator brands, extending its footprint in the enthusiast PC upgrade space while leaning on its established reputation in memory manufacturing and quality control.
On the storage front, the Acer FA200 SSD arrives as a PCIe 4.0 solution capable of sequential read speeds of up to 7200 MB/s. It combines Host Memory Buffer technology with SLC caching to deliver faster boot times and smoother file transfers, while its single-sided NAND design keeps the drive thin enough for broad compatibility, including desktops, laptops, and even the PlayStation 5.
Aside from the usual stability, thermal efficiency, and power management assurance for low maintenance across the board, each retail unit will also come with a customized copy of Acronis True Image, easing data migration and backup tasks.
Complementing the SSD is the Predator Vesta II DDR5 RGB memory, aimed squarely at performance enthusiasts. The kit features tight CL38-38-38-84 timings with frequencies reaching up to 7200 MHz, alongside support for both Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO, allowing users on either platform to access high-speed profiles without extensive manual tuning.
Built on a 10-layer PCB with gold-plated contacts, the modules also integrate a redesigned RGB light bar with eight independent lighting zones, compatible with mainstream RGB control software.
Thermal management is another focus, with a built-in temperature sensor and a metallic heatsink featuring angled grooves to help dissipate heat during sustained gaming or overclocking sessions.
Capacity options include 2x8GB and 2x16GB kits, giving users flexibility depending on their workload and system requirements.
