ASUS Malaysia confirms availability of ZenScreen Duo OLED MQ149CD

ASUS Malaysia has officially unveiled the news that the ZenScreen Duo OLED MQ149CD is coming to the local market.
This portable monitor is a dual OLED panel that offers an exquisite 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and Delta E<2 color accuracy alongside HDR support, 100K:1 contrast ratio, DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, and more.
Each side is a 1920 x 1200 screen and when fully expanded, it is equivalent to a 20-inch display. Other than that, its 360° hinge enables diverse positioning options including the Tent mode usually reserved for detachable laptops. That’s not all because Extend/Split/Independent/Mirror modes are also here to serve specific purposes with maximum efficiency.
Coming in at just 1.07 kg and foldable down to a 14-inch form, it is powered using a single USB-C connection that also acts as the data line. Passthrough includes mini HDMI and 2x USB-C ports for additional peripheral connection.
And of course, the ASUS DisplayWdget Center software streamlines the setup as well customization of settings such as brightness, contrast, and color temperature. The auto-rotate function will prove handy when it comes to swapping between landscape and portrait applications.
Lastly, the built-in quarter-inch screw thread socket allows the monitor to be mounted on a camera tripod, enabling height adjustments for comfortable viewing. ASUS has also prioritized sustainability, with the MQ149CD earning ENERGY STAR certification and being packaged in FSC Mix-certified, eco-friendly materials to optimize shipping efficiency.
