AGIBOT makes Malaysia Debut, driving broader Asia-Pacific initiatives
AGIBOT has announced the rollout of a series of strategic initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region in 2026, beginning with a landmark launch in Malaysia.
AGIBOT officially marked its Malaysia debut with a launch event at i-City, Selangor, attended by senior company representatives, government officials, partners, customers, and media, underscoring its long-term commitment to automation and regional collaboration.
Held on 13 January 2026, the event also celebrated the opening of the AI World Experience Centre, developed with I-Berhad and officiated by the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation.
The centre highlights AGIBOT’s robotics and embodied AI across urban, hospitality, tourism, and lifestyle applications, while highlighting a growing focus on human wellness and quality of life as part of a broader, long-term partnership.
Not only that, AGIBOT also presents a comprehensive robotics portfolio designed for diverse real-world applications, including:
- AGIBOT A2 series – full-sized humanoid robots supporting multimodal interaction and autonomous navigation for guided tours and showroom environments
- AGIBOT X2 series – compact, half-sized humanoids capable of natural interaction, humanlike walking, and expressive movements, aimed at entertainment, research, and education
- AGIBOT G2 series – industrial-grade embodied robots that combine interactive intelligence with precise force-controlled manipulation for fast deployment in industrial settings
- AGIBOT D1 series – high-mobility quadruped robots designed for inspection and operations in complex or challenging environments
- AGIBOT C5 – an autonomous commercial floor-care robot offering smart navigation and efficient sweeping and scrubbing for large facilities
In addition, VSTECS has been appointed as AGIBOT’s humanoid robotics distributor in Malaysia. Through this partnership, VSTECS aims to accelerate awareness and adoption of humanoid robotics through its strong channel network and market expertise, while reinforcing its role in advancing AI and intelligent automation in the local market.
