Inside the Samsung Galaxy Land expo at The Exchange TRX – One-stop AI buzzstation about the Galaxy S25 series

Samsung Malaysia has begun its Galaxy Land expo over at The Exchange TRX with its exact location being at the Raintree Plaza just outside of the Balenciaga store.
The expo contains 3 areas that explore different AI aspects of the Galaxy S25 series smartphones through a mix of newly available and existing features that have been enhanced since the launch of the new Galaxy S family.
Oh, you’ll also get a stamp card for progress tracking. You’ll receive a small gift at the end of the tour.
Powered by One UI 7, the newly introduced Now Bar is located at the bottom of the screen, usually seen on the locked screen for quick AI access without unlocking the phone.
It is a powerful one-stop yet dynamic shape that displays live notifications, music control, routines, and more.
Within, it also has the Now Brief sub-function that displays pre-made brief cards created by the user to help them stay on track for the day, informing them what sort of stuff they need to catch up or complete.
Samsung Malaysia also had a small partnership with Paris Baguette that offered participants a free selection of pastries while the crew demonstrated the power of Gemini by researching and summarizing various info about the confectionary via voice command.
Next up is the central area which is more about smart AI recognition that powers the camera and microphone.
To start, crews demonstrated the “Shazam-Like” function where users could let the Galaxy S25 smartphone listen to the surroundings and if successful, the correct song should pop up through Google Search.
The Circle To Search feature is also showcased by launching the camera app (without taking the photo), holding the Home button, and circling the desired subject. If found, the correct info and summarization will be shown to the user.
The same method can be done for the translation function activated by selecting the button instead of circling, allowing one to understand different languages on the fly through the power of AI translation.
The last stop is the “productivity” experience zone, at least for me, since it is more task-driven with the crew demonstrating various existing features like Note Assist capable of generating new text content or enhancing/summarizing existing ones, as well as the Sketch-to-Image whipping up simple art in just a matter of seconds.
Attendees may also request specific functions for demonstration if they only “heard about it but never experienced it first hand”, and then crew members will gladly help.
After finishing the tour, take your fully stamped card to the redemption counter to receive 1 of 2 available keychains.
Finally, the first night is concluded with rounds of performances by Uriah See’s wonderful violin and vocal solo, the rising star band Dukes, as well as the DOLLA trio’s movement-packed dances and singings.
Although the performances were exclusive to the first day, the entire expo runs all the way until March 2 so it will be there for another week, be sure to visit them if you’re interested.
