The ROG Xbox Ally series is here – priced at RM2,699 and RM4,299

The wait is nearly over. We can now secure a unit of the new ROG Xbox Ally and the ROG Xbox Ally X, with the price of RM2,699 and RM4,299, respectively. Let’s make one thing clear – the white color one is the ROG Xbox Ally, the affordable one – and the ROG Xbox Ally X is the black one that is packed with the best performance possible on a handheld gaming device.

Even while the ROG Xbox Ally is superbly affordable, iti s claimed that the AMD Ryzen Z2 A processor is up to 20% better performance in games like Forza Horizon 5 and also offering up to 110% improved battery life over the ROG Ally X.

Both of these handheld devices use the same 7-inch IPS LCD screen with up to 500 nits brightness, the same as the ROG Ally and the Ally X – which are plenty bright and also has great color accuracy for the best gaming experience ever without worrying about burn-in.

As both these handheld devices are AMD-powered, they can leverage AMD-exclusive features like FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) upscaler, Radeon Super Resolution (RSR), and AMD Fluid Motion Frames (AFMF). The ROG Xbox Ally X also has an onboard NPU which enables more AI-capable features.
