During a visit to Osaka, our founder was captivated by the charm and flavor of Takoyaki – grilled octopus balls filled with shredded cabbage. This passion for Takoyaki led him to leave his career in accounting and dive headfirst into the food business. In 2003, this dream came to life with the opening of the first Tako Tao outlet in his hometown in Malaysia.
