When she returned to her village in 2014, she craved the familiar taste but found that no one was selling gula apong ice cream in her area. This sparked an idea: Why not bring the unique Sarawakian treat to West Malaysia?

Determined to turn her vision into reality, Siti attended an ice cream-making course to master the basics. But the real magic happened in her own kitchen, where she spent countless hours experimenting, adjusting, and perfecting her recipe. Her family and relatives became her official taste testers, offering honest feedback and unwavering support.

The journey wasn’t easy—many batches of ice cream failed before she finally created the perfect recipe. But her persistence paid off, and she took the leap to open her first ice cream stall, introducing her sweet invention to the public.
